Our Philosophy

Discovery Tours – Travel with Attitude

We are a small, independent tour operator based in Vorarlberg. For over ten years, we have been accompanying curious travelers to the most authentic places in Europe and North Africa. Our focus is on encounters with local culture, traditional crafts, and unforgettable nature experiences – off the beaten path.

Who we work for

Our guests are people who seek more than a beach vacation. They want to understand what olive oil really tastes like, why a riad in Marrakech is built the way it is, and which scent defines the Provence in June. They travel consciously, respectfully, and with open eyes.

Curious individuals & culture enthusiasts

What sets us apart

Every trip is personally curated by us. We work with family-run businesses, local guides, and small accommodations that live their traditions. No mass processing, no standardized packages – but genuine insights that last.

Authenticity over commerce

Our tone

We communicate clearly, honestly, and without exaggeration. No empty promises, but concrete descriptions of what awaits you. Our texts are informative, personal, and reflect our appreciation for the cultures we visit.

Respectful & direct

Why We Exist

We create encounters with people and places that get under your skin. No standardized routes, but real insights into cultures that welcome us.

Respectful Exchange Every journey begins with listening. We work with local hosts who want to share their traditions – without staging.

Sustainable Discovery Our tours are designed to protect the environment while still offering unforgettable moments. Small groups, public transport, regional accommodations.

Authentic Encounters Instead of beaten paths, we take you to places not found in travel guides. A dinner with a family, a craft workshop in a backyard – that stays with you.

Shared Growth We learn from the people we visit and pass on this knowledge. Every journey enriches both sides – guests and hosts.
